Verseward

How Verseward works

You don't have to know where to look. Bring what's happening — Verseward does the rest.

Step 1

Bring what's happening

You don't need the right words. A sentence is enough — even a few words. “I feel far from God lately.” “I'm overwhelmed and don't know what to do next.” “I'm struggling to forgive someone.”

There's no form to fill out, no structure to follow. You don't need to already know which verse applies, or even what you're really asking for. That's the part Verseward is built to help with.

Step 2

Meet Scripture there

Verseward reads what you shared, identifies what you're carrying, and finds Scripture that speaks to it — quoted word for word from the Bible, never invented, never paraphrased from memory. We use the Berean Standard Bible (BSB).

You'll also get a short reflection that explains the verse in its original context and connects it to what you're facing. Verseward never speaks as if it were God, and it never invents a personal message — it points you to what's already written, and helps you understand it.

This takes about 20–30 seconds. Long enough to get it right, short enough that you're not left waiting.

Step 3

Carry it with you

Every reading ends with one small, doable next step — not a to-do list, just one thing you can actually act on.

You'll also get a Scripture card made for that moment, ready to save or set as your phone wallpaper. It's not meant to be decoration — it's meant to meet you again tomorrow, when you open your phone and see it before you've had a chance to forget.

Your reading and card are saved to your account, so you can look back whenever you need to.
